I have maybe 100 cook books and I cook out of 6 of them. My mission this year is to cook out of a different one each week.
I'm a big fan of Alison Roman's writing and youtube channel so I knew I was going to love this book. I'm not a dessert lover but these are desserts I want to make but......it's not just sweet things and this Sunday due to a glut of left over tomatoes I made her Tomato Tart.
It was so very good, so easy and the crust really does taste like cheetos. Her recipes are clever and always work. They're impressive but straightforward.
Next on my list out of this book is the Golden Ginger Cake
