Our Howard-style chair is traditionally handcrafted with a deep, inviting seat, generously filled with feather and down—no foam in sight. Built on a sustainably sourced hardwood frame, it features classic turned wooden legs and elegant brass castors on the front for a timeless finish.

Fabric Options

• Please note: the Christine armchair is sold without fabric. You're welcome to supply your own—just email us at hello@thehouseupstairs.co.uk and we’ll share our address.
• Or, if you’d like a little help, we offer a fabric sourcing service for £55. We’ll send you unlimited suggestions, plus swatches delivered straight to your door to help you find the perfect match.
• You’ll need 8 meters of fabric for our standard-sized Christine. To estimate fabric cost, simply multiply the required meterage by the fabric’s retail price per meter.

• Our standard sized Christine is 86cm(h) x 93cm(w) x 98cm(d) x 46cm(sh), however if you'd like a bespoke size to fit your space please email us at hello@thehouseupstairs.co.uk for a free quote.

Your Christine will be ready to ship in approximately 7 weeks. Shipping times may vary depending on your location. Please note, for custom sizes or if you're providing your own fabric, the lead time begins once we’ve received the fabric.
