The Daphne banquette bench offers a masterclass in clean, streamlined design. Bench built by hand from solid timber, its structured silhouette brings an elegant permanence to dining spaces, kitchen alcoves, and architectural nooks alike. It features a fixed seat and backrest. Firm, consistent support and a crisp, tailored aesthetic.

We offer a meticulous colour matching service. We're able to colour match from all major paint suppliers such as Farrow and Ball, Paint and Paper Library, Dulux and Coat.  Simply specify your chosen shade and finish upon ordering, or consult with our team to coordinate with your existing cabinetry and palette.

Every piece is handbuilt to order in our Derbyshire workshop and is fully customisable.

• Please note: your Daphne banquette is sold without fabric. You're welcome to supply your own—just email us at hello@thehouseupstairs.co.uk and we’ll share our address.
• Or, if you’d like a little help, we offer a fabric sourcing service for £75. We’ll send you unlimited suggestions, plus swatches delivered straight to your door to help you find the perfect match.
• A 140cm - 160cm Daphne banquette needs 3 metres of fabric.
• A 161cm - 180cm Daphne banquette needs 4 metres of fabric.
• A 181cm - 200cm Daphne banquette needs 5 metres of fabric.
• A 201cm - 220cm Daphne banquette needs 6 metres of fabric.
• A 221cm - 240cm Daphne banquette needs 7 metres of fabric.
• A 241cm - 260cm Daphne banquette needs 8 metres of fabric.
• A 261cm - 280cm Daphne banquette needs 9 metres of fabric.
  
• To estimate fabric cost, simply multiply the required meterage by the fabric’s retail price per meter.  

Size

• These sizes offer a guide price and recommended meterage for your new banquette (for example, a 150cm wide banquette would cost £1,895). 
• Our standard Daphne banquette height is 80cm, the total depth is 60cm and seat height is 45cm. However if you'd like a bespoke size to fit your space please email us at hello@thehouseupstairs.co.uk for a free quote.

Shipping and Lead Times

Your Daphne will be ready to ship in approximately 8-10 weeks. Shipping times may vary depending on your location. Please note, for custom sizes or if you're providing your own fabric, the lead time begins once we’ve received the fabric.
