Our Frames - handmade to order so no waste

Our frames are handmade in Derbyshire from sustainably FSC sourced European beech and birch hardwood and are glued screwed and dowled for strength. We use serpentine springs for the seats and the back has a wool interliner.

This slipper sofa, like all our furniture is handmade to order by an upholsterer with 40 years experience, in a part of Derbyshire that has centuries of history as the home of fine British upholstered furniture making. These are pieces of the highest quality that are built to last.

Shipping and Lead Times

We offer FREE 2 man UK shipping on sofas to most mainland UK postcodes. Please contact us for a price if you believe your postcode falls outside of this . We can ship internationally, please can contact us for a quote.

Your slipper sofa will be ready to ship in 6-7 weeks. Custom sizes take longer and if you're supplying your own fabric then the lead time starts from when we receive your fabric.

Free Shipping on almost all UK orders.

Please contact us for EU and international shipping rates enquiries but are also calculated at checkout.

Stock items leave our premises in 2-3 days from purchase unless stated. Fulfilment time on made to order purchases (this includes all furniture) varies and is listed in product descriptions.

Please note we do NOT calculate, include or collect any import taxes or duties for non-UK purchases. Where applicable these are payable to the relevant courier company who collect them on behalf of your local tax authority and are your responsibility.
