Our best selling Bryher is a true classic. Elegant, versatile, and incredibly functional, she’s designed to fit seamlessly into any space and pairs beautifully with a wide range of fabrics. Whether you use her as a footstool, a coffee table, or both, she’s always up to the task.

Fabric Options

Please note: your Bryher ottoman is sold without fabric to supply your own—just email us at hello@thehouseupstairs.co.uk and we’ll share our address.
Or, if you’d like a little help from our design team, we offer a fabric sourcing service for £75. We’ll send you unlimited suggestions, plus swatches delivered straight to your door to help you find the perfect match.
You’ll need 2 metres of fabric for our standard-sized Bryher. To estimate fabric cost, simply multiply the required metreage by the fabric’s retail price per metre.

Our standard sized Bryher is 125cm(l) x 65cm(w) x 34cm(h) or 38cm(h) with castors, however if you'd like a bespoke size to fit your space please email us at hello@thehouseupstairs.co.uk for a free quote.

Each piece of our furniture is handmade to order by a skilled upholsterer with over 40 years of experience, in the heart of Derbyshire—a region with a rich heritage in British upholstery. Crafted with care and expertise, these are timeless pieces of exceptional quality, built to last for years to come.

Shipping and Lead Times

Your Bryher will be ready to ship in approximately 8 weeks. Shipping times may vary depending on your location. Please note, for custom sizes or if you're providing your own fabric, the lead time begins once we’ve received the fabric.

We offer a white glove delivery service within the UK, and yes—we ship worldwide! For international shipping quotes, just drop us a line at hello@thehouseupstairs.co.uk.

We offer a free 2 man white glove delivery service with unpacking, to mainland UK, on all our furniture.

Ready made items leave our premises in 2-3 days from purchase unless stated.

Please note we do NOT calculate, include or collect any import taxes or duties for non-UK purchases. Where applicable these are payable to the relevant courier company who collect them on behalf of your local tax authority and are your responsibility.

Talk through your room, your colours and how the piece will be used
Send you a hand-picked selection as well as fabric samples of your faves
Order your chosen fabric and have it delivered straight to our workshop
